Leslie’s Laureate Circle
Honoring Leslie Swackhamer
Make a donation in Leslie’s honor to join Leslie’s Laureate Circle!
This year we honor Leslie Swackhamer, a passionate arts advocate, visionary industry leader, and artist whose boundless creativity rivals that of the muses. Leslie is an accomplished director, educator, and dramaturg whose work spans from theatre, to musicals, opera, film, and new work development. As the Executive Director of the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, the oldest and largest playwriting prize honoring women+ playwrights, Leslie is a trailblazer for women’s voices internationally. 4th Wall is proud to partner with Leslie and the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize to bring annual readings of the Prize Winning Plays to Houston audiences, and we are especially proud to honor Leslie’s incredible contributions to the field at this year’s Fête.
Even if you can’t attend this year’s event, you can make a donation in honor of Leslie Swackhamer and her incredible contributions to the theatre industry with a donation in her honor. All donors will be recognized as members of the “Leslie’s Laureate Circle.”
